About Snowball Capital
We are an investment holding company in Penang, Malaysia, built around a single idea: own great businesses, hold them long enough, and let compounding do the heavy lifting.
The name is the strategy. As Buffett put it, “Life is like a snowball. The important thing is finding wet snow and a really long hill.” Our job is to find the two things that make a snowball grow — wet snow, and a long enough hill — and then get out of the way.
What we do
- We hold — listed companies, for years rather than quarters.
- We own — profitable private businesses, outright.
- We back — early founders, with conviction and patience.
- We build — software and companies of our own, for equity.
How we work
Long holding periods. Concentrated conviction. We are operators, not spectators — close enough to the businesses we own to help, patient enough to let them compound. No fund to churn, no exit clock ticking. We simply hold what works.
